Music performance!

Amy, Alex and Mackenzie showed Room 18, what they have been learning in their music lessons.
We were all impressed as we know that learning an instrument takes time and practice! :)

Skype

This morning we skyped a grade 4 class from New Jersey in America!! After a failed attempt yesterday, we managed to get through to them today!!  We are going to skype again another morning as we did not get through all our questions!  They also want to learn more about us!! 9am Thursday morning for us, was 3pm Wednesday afternoon for them. 
Can anyone find where New Jersey is on the world map?

HELLO!

We are a class of 22 awesome creative A.C.T.I.V.E Halswell School kids!  We have 11 Year 3's and 11 Year 4's!  We like art, reading, swimming, scootering, Lego, maths, fitness games, silly bandz, writing, mustangs, music, ice skating and ALL sports!
We all enjoyed watching and WINNING the Rugby World Cup!
We are looking forward to posting on our new blog! :)
