We had a very special assembly on Wednesday to mark one year on from February 22 2011.
The hearts along our school fence, pretty flowers and letting go of the balloons made a lovely display :)

Another week has flown by!

On Wednesday we are having a very special school assembly at 12.45 if any parents wish to join us. We will be observing the 2 minutes silence at 12.51pm.

Week 2!

Another week of school has whizzed by already!!
This Tuesday we have Constable Ross coming in to take another Kia Kaha lesson. We have already learnt to indentify different types of bullying and now we be learning positive strategies to deal with bullying and how to get help when needed. Also on Tuesday, we have our art lesson, on self portraits, with Susie from the Art Gallery. We have many artists in Room 18 so I can't wait to see the end result! Plus on Monday we have our 2nd softball lesson with Sport Canterbury. We are very lucky to have a softball lesson every Monday for the next month! :)

2012!!!

A new year and a wonderful new class!  Room 18 has 27 awesome kids this year.  We have had a great first week and have had lots of fun doing maths with M&M's!!  We have been A.C.T.I.V.E workers and Mrs Ireland is impressed!!!!
